At just 19 years of age, Dave has quickly established himself as one of the UK’s most exciting new talents. While yet to release his debut album, he has already been tipped by the BRIT Awards as their youngest nominee of 2018, following his public-voted win at the 2017 MOBOs for Best Newcomer. His award show nods follow the success of his second EP Game Over, which peaked at no.2 on iTunes and included the smash hit ‘No Words’ that entered the year as the highest charting independent single for six consecutive weeks.

Similarly to Dave’s debut EP Six Paths, Game Over showcases the intelligent wordplay and socio-political commentary that he has become synonymous with, balanced alongside infectious melodic hits featuring production from the likes of Fraser T Smith (Adele, Sam Smith, Stormzy) and Steel Banglez (Mist, Krept and Konan.)

The palpable sense of excitement around Dave has earned him famous fans from Hans Zimmer to Drake, with the latter remixing the London rapper’s breakthrough track ‘Wanna Know’ in 2016. Subsequently, last year saw Dave selling out two back-to-back London shows in less than five minutes, before embarking on sold-out tours across both the UK and Australia. Such demand was proved well-earned with both The Times and The Guardian awarding his London headline show 5 Stars.

This year sees Dave embark on a US Tour, where he has already been hotly tipped by XXL and listed by Billboard as ‘primed to take over America in 2018’, before releasing his much-anticipated debut album.
